Research

Every year, NERI contributes to our knowledge of Pacific Northwest ecosystems by:

  • conducting research led by NERI associates,
  • sponsoring (with time, resources, and/or grant seed money) research and habitat restoration work carried out by students, non-profit organizations, and other researchers in the region,
  • acting as fiscal agent and partner on grants to keep grant overhead costs low.
